The Education Excellence Awards 2024 celebrate education excellence in the context of our contemporary, research-intensive university.

The Awards are peer and student nominated, and the aim is to recognise all staff who teach and support learning e.g. academic, professional services and PGTAs who design, deliver and/or support exceptional student learning.

Assessment Tools Proof of Concept project

The Assessment Tools Proof of Concept project at the University of Birmingham is ongoing in the 2023/24 academic year, offering academics access to two new digital assessment tools (Cadmus and Graide).

The project's goal is to identify digital assessment solutions which can enhance the current VLE’s (Canvas) assessment and feedback processes for students, and aid academic staff in managing workload.
