Music of the Stars and the Search for New Worlds

When you look up at the sky on a clear night did you know that many of the twinkling starts are playing a stellar symphony, as if they were musical instruments? And that many host planets like our Earth?

Dr Tiago Campante, School of Physics and Astronomy, explains how astronomers are listening to the sound of stars and finding new worlds in our Galaxy.

Admission is free, no booking required.

This event is presented as part of the University of Birmingham's Arts & Science Festival (16-22 March 2015), a week-long celebration of ideas, research and collaboration across campus.
