Throughout the year, Library Services offers Information Literacy training, designed for ‘A’ level and FE students. These include tailored sessions on topics such as referencing, effective internet searching, evaluating websites and avoiding plagiarism. Find out about our information and research skills training.
Train the trainer
Once a year, we run a “Train the trainer” day, specifically designed for teachers and school librarians who are unable to bring students to the campus. During the day, we share best practice and teaching materials, enabling you to run sessions on your own site. For more information, please contact libraryskillstraining@bham.ac.uk
