Uganda

The University of Birmingham has a population of 11 Ugandan students following a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The Law School receives a number of applications from Uganda each year and we hope to build upon our current student body in the future.

The UK is the home of Common Law and traditional universities such as Birmingham carry a powerful international reputation leading to enhanced job prospects.

It is extremely beneficial to be trained at a UK university when looking for jobs as employers do rate the qualifications. (Ogoke Wilson Emeka, LLM, 2009-10)

Student societies

Many nationality groups form student societies during their time at the University of Birmingham. This is an excellent way to keep in contact with home and also provides an opportunity to highlight your culture and customs in the UK.
