This research is systematically reviewing, historically and chronologically, the politico-legal interaction from the settlement of the Amish (Christian religious minority) in the United States of America until today. The enquiry will advance the understanding of the ongoing negotiation between the two entities as well as exploring the power dynamic between the State and religious minorities.
