Biography

I have extensive experience in teaching EAP to international students both in the UK and in China, in addition to having taught EFL to international students abroad. In 2011, I was awarded a PhD from the University of Birmingham, where I also acted as a visiting lecturer within the School of English, benefited from a number of research stays at highly-ranked universities in Canada and Germany, worked as a research assistant on  AHRC- and ESRC-funded collaborative research projects, published my research results, and have taught modules in research skills as well as taught on pre-sessional courses in EAP.
