Biography

Sukhvinder is MD of Engage-Us which supports cross sector integration of public services across health, housing and social care.  Previously, Sukhvinder was CEO of the Barrow Cadbury Trust and of the Runnymede Trust. She chaired Volunteering England through the 2012 Olympics.

Sukhvinder is a Brummie and was ‘plucked’ from her inner city community to a prized place at Oxford. She returned to the region from 1994 – 2006 as a Board Director of the Black Country Development Corporation, Advantage West Midlands and then two terms on Severn Trent Water. She chaired the Secondary Education Commission for Birmingham City Council and was a member of the Democracy Commission.  Now based in London, Sukhvinder continues to influence national policy.  As a member of the Government’s Better Regulation Taskforce, she chaired and authored Regulating for Civil Society and served on the Prime Ministers Taskforce for Deprived Neighbourhoods.
