Alumni Book Club

Join our Birmingham Alumni Book Club and connect with fellow UoB Alumni as we discuss exciting and varied books. Discussions take place, on our Facebook page, and in virtual book club meetings. Our next meeting with be on Wednesday 10th November via Zoom where we will be discussing ‘The Butchers’ by Ruth Gilligan, a literary thriller set in the Irish borderlands and winner of the 2021 Royal Society of Literature Ondaatje Prize, awarded to the book that best evokes the 'spirit of a place'. This particular meeting will also include a Q&A with the author herself!
