Alumni Voices Series - Great British Scandals

Join US based alumni for a pre-holiday get-together and talk from Chris Lardge (BSc Chemical Engineering 1965, PhD ChE 1968) on Great British Scandals: The Profumo Affair. The Profumo affair was a British political scandal in the 1960s that took place at the height of the Cold War and led to fears of a national security breach, ultimately contributing to the fall of Prime Minister Harold Macmillan and his government.

There will be 15 minutes open chat at the start of the event followed by Chris's presentation and questions.
