How can forces we can’t see - solar winds, geomagnetic storms, ionospheric shifts - disrupt our daily lives?

We are delighted to invite you to another event in our Bringing Birmingham to You series taking place online via Zoom. We'll be joined by Professor Sean Elvidge, a leading expert in space weather forecasting, who will demystify the hidden forces of space weather and explore how invisible phenomena in Earth’s upper atmosphere can have very real consequences for life on Earth.

Come prepared with all your questions as Sean shares his cutting-edge research and how it's helping us understand and predict phenomena we can’t see—but must be ready for.

Location: online via Zoom (please note this event was previously advertised as taking place in central London but is now online due to tube strikes)

Date and time: Wednesday 10 September 18:30 - 19:30

If you have any queries about the event, or any issues registering, please email the alumni events team.
