The University of Birmingham Dubai is officially open for teaching. 

Our Heritage

Established by Queen Victoria in 1900, the University of Birmingham is ranked in the top 1% of universities across the globe. We are a member of the elite Russell Group of UK universities, which includes Oxford and Cambridge, and are proud of the work we do to change the world. We bring all of this heritage, prestige, and global renown to our new campus in Dubai. We will give our pioneering first group of students the opportunity to benefit from a British education and University of Birmingham qualification, which is recognised and valued by employers and academic institutions across the world.

University of Birmingham Dubai

Our campus development in Dubai marks the latest phase in the University of Birmingham’s global expansion and builds on our extensive international research collaborations, CPD programmes, distance learning courses, and well-established international teaching activities in Singapore and China.

Our Programmes

We offer degrees that will be taught, examined and accredited to the same high standards as those delivered on its UK campus and are approved by the Dubai Government’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), which is responsible for the growth and quality of education, we will provide opportunities for students to study on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. These include Business, Economics, Accounting and Finance, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Money, Banking and Finance with the option of an integrated foundation year if necessary.

At Postgraduate level, International Business, Computer Science, International Commercial Law and a PGCE with Primary education pathways and Secondary education pathways in Science, English and Mathematics and PGCert in Inclusion and Special Educational Needs.
