Social Marketing involves the application of marketing principles to influence behaviour change for the greater social good. • Analyse examples of local and international behaviour change initiatives using frameworks and benchmark criteria commonly used in the discipline.
  • Apply the social marketing concepts to develop a brief social and behavioural change communication strategy addressing relevant local issues.

  • Social Marketing Strategy Development: Participants will acquire the ability to create comprehensive social marketing plans for public health initiatives.
  • Audience/Community Segmentation: Participants will gain expertise in community segmentation, allowing them to identify and define key audience segments based on behaviour, demographics, and psychographics.
