Assistant Professor in Sustainable Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Dr Al Mamun is actively engaged in research that explores the intersections of place, identity, and entrepreneurship within marginalised communities.

As sustainability continues to shape industries, this webinar explores how entrepreneurship can drive practical, impactful change.
Dr Abdullah Al Mamun, Assistant Professor in Sustainable Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham Dubai, will deliver a masterclass on how students can develop a changemaker mindset and apply it in real-world contexts. The session will focus on starting small and thinking big, using evidence-based approaches grounded in behavioural science and place-based insights, and learning from entrepreneurs addressing sustainability challenges within their own communities.
The session will be followed by a programme overview from Dr Fiona Oster, Programme Director and Academic Lead for Entrepreneurship, who will introduce the MSc Sustainable Innovation and Entrepreneurship programme.
