These scholarships reward outstanding academic achievement at undergraduate, postgraduate taught, and doctoral levels.
Undergraduate Chancellor’s Academic Merit Scholarship
Up to 30% per year

These awards support students progressing from our partner institutions, alumni continuing their studies, and employees of our corporate partners.

Up to 30% per year
Secure Your Spot Scholarship
UAE-based students who enrol early receive an additional 10% award in year one.
How to receive a scholarship
A separate scholarship application is not required. All Conditional Offers are reviewed for scholarship eligibility using the documents submitted with your application.
Following the issue of a Conditional Offer from the University of Birmingham Dubai, your application will be considered by the Scholarship Committee. Scholarship confirmation is normally issued by email within 10 working days.
General terms and conditions
- A student must receive an offer for entry to a full or part-time undergraduate or postgraduate course to be eligible for a scholarship
- Following the issue of a Conditional Offer, scholarship confirmation is normally issued by email within 10 working days. Applicants must accept their offer and pay the deposit by the date stated in the offer letter to secure their place
- A student must be able to pay the outstanding tuition fees not covered by the scholarship to receive the scholarship
- Scholarships cannot be deferred and will not apply to any re-sit exams
- Scholarships are reviewed on an individual basis, and once issued, will be final and non-negotiable
- Scholarships once issued must remain confidential
- Scholarships cannot be combined unless specified

Scholarships that apply to all years of study also cover the exchange year at our Edgbaston (UK) campus. Please note, this does not apply to courses that require you to complete years of study at the Edgbaston (UK) campus, or a clinical placement year:
