During Welcome Week, we offer a free shuttle bus between the Dubai campus and Centrepoint Metro Bus Station.
Welcome Week shuttle bus timetable
Monday 21 to Friday 25 September
- Depart Centrepoint Metro Bus Station: 08:30 and 12:00
- Return from campus: 14:30 and 17:30
Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September
- Depart Centrepoint Metro Bus Station: 08:30
- Return from campus: 16:30
Need transport to and from campus?
Register for term-time student transport services before the start of the semester.
ID card collection
You can collect your student ID card as long as you have completed online registration.
You can collect it from the Welcome Zone on the Ground Floor during Welcome Week, from 9:00 to 18:00 and on Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.
Don’t forget to pick up a UoBD tote bag, which will include some merch!
Welcome events and inductions
There is a lot going on over Welcome Week! Make sure you know what events you should attend for your course, as well as other activities and events that you won't want to miss from across the University.
Attend your course induction to learn about your course, meet key people, and connect with fellow students. Understand available student services, including the Library and Careers Network Dubai. There is also a Health and Safety Induction for all students, and you must complete the mandatory online Health and Safety Canvas Course.
Explore student events during the welcome week, and be sure to sign up for clubs and groups.
