About: Understanding how an infection such as the Ebola virus spreads through a population or how different populations interact with each other, is essential to maintaining healthy and diverse populations. By describing these situations with maths, we can make predictions about whether a particular treatment/containment strategy will be effective.

This Masterclass will show A Level Maths students how to develop these mathematical models and look at ways to ensure the human race survives if (and when) the zombies attack!

Additional Information: Individual bookings can be made by students in Year 12 and 13. Please note you may not be allocated all the places you request depending on availability.
