The University of Birmingham is a place of ground-breaking innovation and research: join us for a tour of incredible objects that tell this story. Discover hydrogen trains, symbolic daggers, paranormal devices and miniature suns, and learn about the people and teams behind them!
The exhibition showcases a range of historical and contemporary examples of research and discovery, created in Birmingham with global reach - affecting the lives of millions of people around the world. Through objects, the exhibition tells the stories of the research itself, the people behind it and those whose lives have been changed by it.
This event is presented as part of the public programme for A History Through Objects: Research and Innovation at the University of Birmingham.
