Birmingham Qur'an

Calligraphy Workshops for School Children 8-18 Years as part of the Birmingham Qur'an Digital Exhibition in the UAE.

One hour, dual language (English and Arabic) workshops available. Please book by 13 November.

Led by Narjes Noreddine and Bassem Zbeeb of Gallery Abaresque

An interactive exhibition from the University of Birmingham, UK telling the story of the Birmingham Qur’an and how it came to international attention in 2015 as one of the oldest Islamic manuscripts in the world.
Hosted by Umm Al Emarat Park with the support of the British Council and the UAE Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development as part of the UK/UAE Year of Creative Collaboration.
