Hundreds of plastic bottles, of all shapes and sizes, piled together.

This webinar will investigate what is limiting change and propose solutions to aid a transition to a new plastic future. It will seek to answer questions such as: What limits the adoption of a more sustainable plastic future? What is the role of laws and regulations in governing plastics use and disposal? How do we enhance public and government participation in the creation of a sustainable future for plastics? How can current technological limitations be overcome?

The event has been organised by the Birmingham Plastics Network at The University of Birmingham. This unique team brings together chemists, environmental scientists, philosophers, linguists, economists, artists, writers, lawyers, and experts in many other fields, to address the global plastics problem.
