Author, actor and presenter Sir Tony Robinson takes you on a weird and wonderful tour of history. Inspired by his Weird World of Wonders series he’ll be highlighting some of the funny, strange, amazing, entertaining, smelly and disgusting bits about the Egyptians, Romans, British and Greeks, plus taking a brief look at why World War Two started.
Learn how a mummy is made, what happened at the first Olympics and how gold played a big part in the growth of the British Empire. It is history - but not as we know it!
Sir Tony Robinson will also be conducting a signing session following this event at 2.30pm
