Join us for a special online event ahead of this year's International Women's Day, where we will be discussing ‘the pill’ and its use in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) – a condition that affects 1 in 10 women worldwide.

We’ll learn more about the different types of oral contraceptive pills out there, why they are used in symptom management and discuss some of the latest research. We will also explore why stigma and bias have historically held women's health research back, as a new generation of female scientists and advocates look to change this. We encourage lots of questions and hope to see you there!

This event has been organised by the Institute of Metabolism and Systems Research and the DAISy-PCOS Leaders.
