Join the University Graduate School for a special International Women’s Day webinar focused on accelerating action towards gender equality.
Hosted by Maria Motunrayo Adebisi, author and current postgraduate researcher, this engaging conversation with Professor Donna Chambers will delve into the intersections of gender and race in academia.
Together, they will explore both institutional and individual barriers faced by BAME women throughout the postgraduate research journey. Professor Chambers will also share insights from her work with Generation Delta, aimed at addressing these inequalities and fostering a long-term increase in the number of Black, Asian, and minority ethnic female professors.
