Exam stress-busting "Crafternoon"

Location
Barber Institute of Fine Arts Foyer
Dates
Thursday 22 May 2014 (14:00-15:30)
crafternoon-Cropped-500x500

Students are strongly encouraged to take regular 20-30 minute breaks from revision.

So why not drop-in on your way in or out of the library and take part in a super simple craft to relieve those feelings of anxiety? “Crafts have been clinically proven to raise levels of the mood-enhancing chemical serotonin, whilst inducing the relaxation and ‘mindfulness’ more often associated with meditation” (Research from Crafts Council 2011). Socialise with others, take some well-earned time out from revision and spend as little or as long as you’d like on our patchwork bunting in a friendly and laid back atmosphere. We’ll also be exchanging top tips on relaxation techniques. We guarantee you’ll go back to the books feeling refreshed!

The drop-in stall is free and all materials will be provided.
