Attendee requirements: None, although the examples of academic writing style are likely to be more humanities/social sciences based, rather than sciences.
About: This interactive masterclass will explore academic writing skills, particularly moving towards a university level of writing. Some of the areas explored will include what good academic writing looks like, how essays might be planned and structured, critical writing, the use of evidence, and editing and proofreading.
Additional information: Schools will be limited to 20 places for this class. Individual bookings can be made by students in Years 12 and 13.
