Opening hours
Temporary closure from 15 December 2025
In order to accommodate the ongoing Barber transformation project, the Barber Fine Art Library reading rooms will temporarily close from Monday 15 December 2025. From this date, library staff will offer a book fetching service, and library users are welcome to consult Barber Fine Art Library materials at the Cadbury Research Library between 10:00-13:00 and 13.30-17:00 Monday to Friday.

This closure is due to the wider building works taking place in the Barber Institute throughout 2026. As such, it is not possible to say when the library will reopen.

- University staff and students: membership is automatic. Your University ID card is your library card.
- External researchers: you can apply for membership or visit us.
