The Grade I-listed Barber Fine Art Library reading room is a gateway to over 55,000 books, journals, exhibition, and auction catalogues. Use these pages to explore our materials, many of which are located in the Cadbury Research Library, the Research Reserve, or are available online. In order to accommodate the ongoing Barber transformation project, the Barber Fine Art Library reading room will temporarily close from Monday 15 December 2025. From this date, library staff will offer a book fetching service, and library users are welcome to consult Barber Library materials at the Cadbury Research Library between 10am-1pm and 1.30-5pm Monday to Friday.
