The Grade I-listed Barber Fine Art Library reading rooms are a gateway to over 55,000 books, journals, exhibition, and auction catalogues. Use these pages to explore our materials also located in our other libraries and archives, and online.
In order to accommodate the ongoing Barber transformation project, the Barber Fine Art Library reading rooms will temporarily close from Monday 15 December 2025. From this date, library staff will offer a book fetching service, and library users are welcome to consult Barber library materials at the Cadbury Research Library between 10am-1pm and 1.30-5pm Monday to Friday.
