About the Environmental Omics Facility

Environmental Omics is part of enabling technologies, a cross-college centralized system that facilitate the access to the cutting-edge technology available on campus.

e-omics-464x280We offer genome, transcriptome and Chip-Seq sequencing coupled with automated liquid handling robotics and high performance computational infrastructure. Our scientific interest is in understanding the effect of chemicals on environmental health and to uncover the targets of natural selection in driving adaptation of ecologically relevant species to environmental change.

The facility is located in the School of Biosciences, College of Life and Environmental Sciences and is embedded in a vibrant and active research environment. For an overview of our research see here and here https://lorsini5.wixsite.com/luisaorsini
