About the event

Music meets geology when the Sekine Quartet returns to the Lapworth Museum with a family event!

Explore the geological collections of the Museum through the power of music with the Sekine Quartet, joined by museum staff. Learn fascinating facts about dinosaurs, sea creatures and Ice Age mammals and listen to the Quartet’s melodic tributes to these geological wonders.

The event will begin with a short tour of the Museum Galleries with museum staff, followed by a themed concert by the Sekine Quartet in our Education Room where there will also be an opportunity to handle objects relating to the tour.

The event will run for approximately one hour.

Recommended for ages 8+. Adult supervision is required.

Tickets are free but booking is required. Book tickets here.

There is a limit of 20 spaces (including parents and guardians) per event. Please book a ticket for every person attending the event.
