Biography:

Shuk Yu YEUNG (Suey) completed her bachelor’s degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. After that she earned her Master in Nutrition & Dietetics, graduating with distinction from the University of Wollongong. She is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA). She is also a member of Hong Kong Dietitians Association and Hong Kong Practicing Dietitians Union. She has worked as a research assistant at the School of Nursing, of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Department of Medicine & Therapeutics, of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her main research interests include the nutrition and well-being of older adults. She has received an award of ‘Best Novice Research Poster’ at the International Congress of Dietetics, Sydney 2012.

Currently, Suey is pursuing her Ph.D. at the Vrije Universiteit (Vrije University), Amsterdam and her research project is focused on the nutritional intervention and physical activity of older adults with sarcopenia.
