Hannah Bradby

Professor, Socioloy Department, Uppsala University, Sweden

After taking degrees from the Universities of Oxford, Glasgow and London, Hannah Bradby has been appointed to lectureships in the Universities of Warwick and Uppsala and fellowships at King’s College London, the University of Essex and the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity, Göttingen.

She is currently Professor at the Sociology Department, Uppsala University, Sweden. Her research into connections between health, racism and ethnicity has been published in ‘Sociology of Health and Illness’, 'Social Science and Medicine' and 'Sociological Research Online'. She co-edits the journal ‘Ethnicity and Health’ and her latest book is ‘Medicine, Health and Society: A Critical Sociology. (2012, Sage).
