Birmingham Law School Visit to Toronto

The University of Birmingham is delighted to invite you to meet with Paul McConnell, our Law School representative, who will be meeting with prospective students who may be interested in studying here.

Paul (Senior Lecturer and Head of Careers) is a lawyer and teaches on a number of the Law programs at Birmingham. He works particularly closely with Birmingham’s Canadian student population, which currently totals nearly 150! He will be visiting Toronto in late February for meetings with students, and he is also able to meet with students on Zoom if they'd prefer, given the current state of the pandemic. 

Paul can help with questions relating to: 

  • Law programs at Birmingham, including courses, teaching, student support and what it is really like to study Law in the UK
  • Legal careers for Canadians who study in the UK
  • Practical information about Birmingham; arrival, accommodation, travel and living in the UK
  • Birmingham’s free and exclusive NCA Summer School for enrolled Canadian students, which is the only program of this type offered by UK Law Schools.

Meetings are available for booking at the following times (Eastern Standard Time):

  • Thursday, 24 February from 11:00 to 19:00
  • Friday, 25 February from 11:00 to 14:00
  • Saturday, 26 February from 11:00 to 19:00
  • Sunday, 27 February from 11:00 to 19:00
