Practical In vivo Research Skills

The module is designed to hone the students’ practical skills and to develop a critical sense of observation within the scientific context. Students will apply the theoretical understanding gained in the in vivo approaches module to the experimental context. They will work through a series of established protocols for physiological experiments on themselves before moving on to experiments on whole living organs derived from animals.

Module Attendance Required

The module is delivered within an experimental laboratory setting with weekly feedback sessions. Students are able to experiment freely under guidance to achieve results.
