Putting into action Frank O'Hara's suggestion that poetry should be between people, not pages, this evening's event is a celebration of the spontaneity of the spoken voice and the power of performance. This event has been organised with the Centre for Contemporary Literature and Culture, and the Birmingham and Midland Institute.
