Identifying the key environmental and cultural factors has been a persistent challenge for market opportunity discovery. Although modest fashion industry has been a context of growing academic and managerial interest, there has been little research attention to the relationship between environment and market opportunity discovery in modest fashion industry. Building on entrepreneurship and consumer research, the main objective of this seminar is to propose a conceptual model for identifying key environmental and cultural factors as drivers of market opportunity discovery. Future research recommendations and implications for the UK modest fashion industry are also discussed.
