Biography

Mahmoud is a Teaching Focused Lecturer in Strategy and International Business (Flying Faculty, Dubai) at Birmingham Business School. He is a Fellow of UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and he has extensive professional and academic experience. He started his academic career back in 2005 in executive teaching working as a Teaching Fellow in Strategic Management at a partner of a French ‘grande école’ in the Middle East. He then completed his PhD at Hull University Business School, where he also taught International Business. Before joining Birmingham Business School, Mahmoud worked as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Huddersfield Business School where he led the MSc International Business programmes and taught various Strategy and International Business courses in the UK as well as in Hong Kong.
