Biography

Nikos Fatouros was born and raised in Preveza, a small yet beautiful town located in the northwestern part of Greece. He is an Assistant Professor in Economics, at the University of Birmingham. His research focuses on Economic Growth, Environmental policy, and Natural Disasters. He joined the International Monetary Fund as a Ph.D. intern in the Fund Internship Program (FIP) (2020), and as a Visiting Scholar (2021).
