After completing her studies at the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis (France), Kamilya moved to the UK and has been at the University of Birmingham since 2012.

Kamilya has an interest in Institutional economics and behavioural economics in analysis of corruption behaviour; analysis of the behaviour and attitude of current undergraduate students in their approach to learning (mindset and attitude to assessment); the impact of technology on learning and assessment in higher education.

Kamilya has also taught a variety of modules including a number of Microeconomics-based undergraduate modules. She is also engaged in both undergraduate Extended Essay and MSc dissertation supervision.

In addition to this, Kamilya has been engaged in welfare and wellbeing activities and curriculum development.
