Postgraduate Offer Holder Day - College of Arts and Law

Congratulations on receiving your offer to study with the College of Arts and Law in September 2020!

Normally we would be welcoming you to our Edgbaston campus right now for an open day specifically designed for offer holders like you. Instead, we’ve put together an afternoon of events for exclusively for offer holders to welcome you to the University and give you a chance to ask any questions you may have.

From zoom presentations with our academics, Q&A’s with our students and live chats with our admissions, recruitment and finance teams, this is your chance to find out what postgraduate life at the University of Birmingham will be like.

The schedule for the day is as follows*:

• 10:00 - 13:00: Q&A with our recruitment, admissions and funding teams
• 13:30 - 14:00: Welcome Zoom Talk from Dr Emma Tyler – Director of Taught Admissions for the College of Arts and Law (For all LLM and MA students)
• 13:30 - 14:00: Welcome Zoom Talk from Rilka Dragneva-Lewers – Director of the Graduate School (For all MRes, MA by Research or PhD students)
• 14:00 - 15:00: Zoom Q&A. Speak to a student from the School of English, Drama and Creative Studies
• 14:00 - 15:00: Zoom Q&A. Speak to a student from the School of History and Cultures
• 14:00 - 15:00: Zoom Q&A. Speak to a student from the School of Languages, Cultures, Art History and Music
• 14:00 - 15:00: Zoom Q&A. Speak to a student from the School of Philosophy, Theology and Religion
• 14:00 - 15:00: Zoom Q&A. Speak to a student from Birmingham Law School
