Undergraduate Drama and Theatre Arts

Providing the next generation of artists and critical thinkers with the tools to challenge the status quo and innovate creatively. Whether your interest lies in Greek tragedy, Shakespeare, live art, British playwrights or theatre for young audiences, you will have the opportunity to experience a variety of drama and theatre before specialising in your favourite areas. A wide-ranging research and teaching culture combines historical and political perspectives with theoretical and practical expertise, particularly in actor training, directing, and contemporary playwriting and performance-making.

My favourite module for Drama would be Theatre Practice because it's more practical and we do a lot of exercises. Some of the exercises can be as random as getting a piece of paper, crumpling it up, and then trying to replicate that with our bodies, trying to really focus on how our muscles work and feeling it in our limbs
