Research

This project explores the way the demonic figure is portrayed in male-authored British Gothic novels of the nineteenth century, its significance and role in interaction with the male characters of these novels, while at the same time I would explore the meaning of the demonic figure, suggesting that every gothic villain is a different depiction of Satan.
