The University of Birmingham is once again hosting their one day postgraduate linguistics conference. This year there is no strict theme for the BELP conference.
Call for papers
We invite contributions on a broad and inclusive basis. This invitation is open to postgraduate researchers from across the field of English Language and Linguistics, to report impactful research from any branch of the discipline. We are also happy to receive submissions from other relevant disciplines.
We are accepting abstracts from postgraduate researchers, including MA by Research students, for 20 minute oral presentations (+5 minutes for questions). Submissions should be no longer than 500 words, excluding the word count for references.
There will also be a poster presentation session so please consider submitting abstracts for this as well. Abstracts should be 250-500 words, excluding the word count for references.

The deadline for abstracts is 16:00 14/02/20 and you will be notified by 28/02/20 as to whether your submission has been accepted.
