Exploring the Experiences of Autistic Adults from Sub-Saharan Africa in Accessing and Utilising Autism Services in the UK
This study explores the experiences of autistic adults from sub-Saharan Africa in accessing and utilising autism services in the UK. It focuses on Ghanaian and Nigerian communities which are two of the most established and populous African groups in the country. The study examines how the intersection of race, ethnicity, culture, and disability shapes the autistic adults' engagement with autism services.
