Spartan Acropolis by Ellen Millender

On Wednesday 20 March, Dr Roxanne Panchasi will explore her professional and personal experiences as both a racialized scholar of modern France & Empire and a settler—the Canadian-born child of South-Asian immigrants—who lives and works on colonized land.

Dr Roxanne Panchasi is Associate Professor of History at Simon Fraser University in Canada. Her current research focuses on the history and legacies of France's nuclear imperialism in Algeria.
