MFL Teachers' Networking Event
Registration is now open for the annual MFL Teachers' Networking Event, taking place this year on Friday 14 June, hosted by the Department of Modern Languages and the Department of Teacher Education.
The event will be based in Room G39 of the Education Building from 9:45 - 15:30, and is open to MFL teachers and academics across the West Midlands. Attendance is free, and refreshments and lunch will be provided.
The networking event brings together MFL teachers from local schools, ITE providers, PGDipEd students and academics to share good practice in language teaching and learning across Secondary level and Higher Education.
This year, the event is based around the theme of 'Texts', understood in the broadest sense of the term. We are delighted to be joined by Professor Dagmar Divjak, Professorial Research Fellow in Cognitive Linguistics and Language Cognition, as our keynote speaker.
Please register for the event using the following link, indicating contact details and any dietary requirements: http://ow.ly/zDoY50ugleR
The deadline for registration is 31 May 2019.
If you have any questions, please do contact Dr Caroline Ardrey, firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
Joining instructions, including a final running order and campus maps will be sent to registered attendees at the beginning of June.
