The Dangers of Time Travel
Is time travel possible? If it is, does it matter? Or is it the sort of thing that only Netflix shows should deal with?
In his Inaugural lecture, Professor Nikk Effingham discusses his research into the philosophy of time travel.
Nikk will explains the weird and strange things that happen to probability and decision-making in time travel scenarios—and why they matter even if you have not made a time machine yet. He then argues that—right here and now!—there are dangers to worry about regarding the upshots of time travel.
