The Power of Narratives in Relation to Harm" with Prof. Lois Presser

In this presentation Professor Presser will offer a close look at the mechanisms by which narratives can promote harm. She will summon research framed by narrative criminology and narrative victimology, which integrate theories from across the academy. Finally, she will consider the possibilities of counter-storytelling for the sake of less harmful and more beneficent arrangements and patterns of conduct.
