Biography

Dr Aspasia Manta is a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham, specialising in endocrine and metabolic disorders. She holds a medical degree and an MSc in Research Methodology and Biostatistics.

Her research spans a broad range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, reproductive endocrinology, metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, and endocrine oncology.

Her current projects include DEKODE, a multicentre, cloud-based initiative focused on improving care pathways for diabetes-related emergencies, and PCOS SEVa, a service evaluation programme exploring patient-centred models of care for polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and aiming to optimise healthcare delivery across diverse clinical settings.
