Hello, I am Malachy, I come from Ireland and I have been living and working in Birmingham since 2019. I completed a postgraduate linguistics degree at the UoB in 2022, and this has given me a good insight into the international student experience here. In my free time, my interests include history and archaeology, travel photography and architecture amongst others.

I have been here at the BIA since 2019, on both pressessional and Foundation programmes. My prior teaching experience includes time in Japan, Oman, Italy and Mexico as well is in Durham, England. 

I am currently teaching a B2 Foundation group, while also working on the Materials and Assessments teams for our BIA courses.
