Frankie Lloyd is a University of Birmingham graduate, having completed a First Class MSci in Biological Sciences in 2021. She now works as a research assistant within the biosciences department, leading the incorporation and management of the start-up environmental justice non-profit Environment Care Foundation.

Biography

Frankie Lloyd completed her undergraduate MSci degree at the University of Birmingham, specializing in environmental health and precision toxicology. During her thesis, she worked under the supervision of Professor John Colbourne to explore the potential of D.magna as model organisms for understanding the affects of hazardous chemicals. Now, she continues to work with Professor Colbourne to launch an international environmental justice nonprofit.
