Mohammad Soltani Delgosha is an Associate professor in Business Analytics at Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham. His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Digital Platforms, and how these technologies transform businesses. Dr. Delgosha’s work has been published in premier journals, including Information Systems Journal, Social Science and Medicine, Technovation, Journal of Business Research, Information System Frontiers, Information Technology and People, and Technological Forecasting and Social Change.

Biography

Dr. Delgosha’s research has been supported by over £1 million in grants from various non-profit and government organisations, including UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), the University of Birmingham, and ITRC.

 In addition to his academic expertise, Dr. Delgosha has a strong industrial and entrepreneurial background in digitalization and business development, equipping him with a deep business understanding of digital technologies. He has contributed to and consulted on numerous Digital Transformation and Business Analytics projects for government agencies and commercial firms across diverse industries, including Oil & Gas, Logistics, Telecommunications, and Finance. Furthermore, he is the founder of two successful startups, demonstrating his ability to translate research and technological advancements into impactful business ventures.
